His Biology
Dirk Hartog was born at Amsterdam in 1580, baptised on the 30th October 1580.His backround was Dutch and he was a Dutch seaman who spent several years trading as a private merchant in the Balactic and the Mederteranian seas. He also in 1615 was appointed the master of the V.O.C ship Eendraucht.That's how he started his career, but sadly his death came on the 11th of October 1621 at the age of 41 how young!
